NYY-J and NYY-O are both 0.6/1kV low-voltage PVC insulated and sheathed power cables complying with VDE standards; the core difference lies in that NYY-J incorporates a yellow-green dual-color protective grounding wire, making it ideal for scenarios requiring mandatory grounding such as industrial equipment power supply, while NYY-O does not have a dedicated grounding conductor and is suitable for applications where grounding can be achieved through alternative means like equipment enclosures or independent grounding systems.
Application
NYY power cables are specifically designed for power supply in cable ducts, power stations, industrial facilities, switchboards, and consumer networks. They can also be installed in brick walls and non-compacted concrete structures, excluding applications subject to vibration or swaying conditions. NYY cables are suitable for outdoor installation, underground laying, underwater deployment, and indoor areas where mechanical damage is prevented. With UV resistance, these cables are well-suited for outdoor use.
