Product Description
Portable Arc-Welding Cables are specialized, high-flexibility power cables designed to carry high currents between the welding machine and the electrode holder or ground clamp. Because welding involves constant movement, high heat, and harsh environments, these cables are built very differently from standard building wires.
Application
These highly flexible welding cables are engineered for use as leads, connecting the electrode holder to the welding machine within the secondary circuit of electric arc welding systems.
Applicable Standard
ICEA S-75-381/NEMA WC 58
ASTM B 172
ASTM B 33
CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 96
UL 1581
Construction
- Conductors: Class K/M stranded annealed copper conductor
- Jacket: Heavy-duty/medium-duty Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR)
